Terms of Service

Last updated: July 30, 2026

These terms cover your use of the fuel mobile app and get-fuel.app. By using fuel you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

Who operates fuel

Fuel is a trading name. Fuel is operated from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and can be contacted at support@get-fuel.app.

What fuel is

fuel is a personal wellness app for iPhone that scores recovery, nutrition, and training, and gives AI-generated coaching from your logged data and (optionally) your Whoop data.

Not medical advice

fuel provides general wellness and fitness information. It is NOT medical advice and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Don't rely on it for emergencies or clinical decisions. If you are pregnant or postpartum, managing a medical condition, or taking medication, talk to your clinician before acting on what fuel suggests.

fuel does not set weight-loss calorie deficits for users under 18. If your profile age is under 18 — or if we don't have your age on file — fuel keeps your calorie target at maintenance and the AI Coach will not recommend a deficit, fasting, or a restrictive plan. The same hold applies during pregnancy, and when your profile or answers suggest under-fuelling or disordered-eating risk.

Your account

Subscriptions

If the price changes

We may change what Fuel Pro costs. A change applies to future billing periods only — never to a period you have already paid for. Because Pro is sold only through the App Store, a price change on an existing subscription goes through Apple's own price-change process: Apple notifies subscribers, and where Apple's rules require your consent, your subscription will not renew at the new price without it. We do not have a separate notice channel, so the App Store notice is the notice. You can cancel at any time in your Apple subscriptions.

Acceptable use

What you create stays yours

The food photos, meals, journal entries, check-in notes, weigh-ins, workouts and goals you put into fuel are yours. You give us permission to store that content, to process it so the app can do its job — score your day, compute your targets, answer you as Coach — and to show it back to you. That permission also covers sending the specific items named in the privacy policy to the processors a feature depends on: a food photo goes to the AI that estimates it, your recent logs go to the AI Coach.

It is a licence to run the service for you and nothing more. We do not publish your content, sell it, license it to anyone else, use it to advertise to you or to anyone, or use your photos and entries to train AI models of our own. It ends when you delete the content or your account.

Our side of it

fuel itself — the app, this website, the code, the design, the scoring and coaching logic, and the fuel name — is ours. These terms give you permission to use the app; they don't transfer any ownership of it to you. Feedback you send us we may act on freely, and we don't owe you anything for it.

Availability

fuel is in beta and is distributed through TestFlight. Features can change, break, or be removed, and we don't promise any level of uptime — there is no service-level agreement and no guarantee the app works at any particular moment. Parts of it depend on other people's services (Whoop, Oura, the AI model, the App Store), and those can fail for reasons we don't control.

Third-party services

fuel integrates with Whoop (read-only) and sends AI Coach messages, plus a summary of your recent health data, to a third-party AI model (Gemini) to generate replies. Those providers' terms apply to the data they process. See the privacy policy for the full list, named provider by provider.

Termination

You can delete your account and all its data from inside the app: Profile → Account → Delete account. You can also email support@get-fuel.appfrom your account address and we'll remove everything. Deletion is permanent — we can't restore a deleted account. Deleting your account does not cancel an active Apple subscription; cancel that in your Apple subscriptions. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Liability

fuel is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages tied to using the app — including health outcomes from decisions you make based on Coach output.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version always lives on this page, with the "Last updated" date at the top. The app does not notify you in-app when the terms change, so check here — continuing to use fuel after an update means you accept the updated terms.

If something goes wrong

Email support@get-fuel.app first, with what happened and what you would like done about it. Almost everything is a bug or a billing question and is settled there. We aim to resolve a complaint within 30 days of receiving it. If we can't, either of us can take it to the courts named below. One exception: a refund on an App Store purchase is Apple's to give, so that request goes to Apple rather than to us.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of fuel. If consumer-protection law where you live gives you rights this section cannot take away, it does not take them away.

The rest

If a court decides part of these terms can't be enforced, that part is narrowed or dropped to the smallest extent needed and everything else stays in force.

These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about fuel, and they replace anything said earlier about the same subjects — in the App Store listing, on the website, or in an email. If the two ever conflict about how we handle your data, the privacy policy is the one that applies.
